Notice regarding the European Economic Area

1. Scope
This notice applies to the services offered through this website by Y&Y Group sp. z o.o. (Poland) and YYGROUP EXCHANGE LTD. (Canada). Although both entities share this website, they operate independently, maintain separate compliance programmes, and do not share customer or transaction data.

2. Regulatory status
The Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2023/1114, "MiCA") requires any firm providing crypto-asset services to clients in the EEA to be authorised as a crypto-asset service provider (CASP). The MiCA transitional period ended on 1 July 2026. Y&Y Group sp. z o.o. is not authorised as a CASP under MiCA. From 1 July 2026 it has ceased providing crypto-asset services to clients resident or established in the EEA. YYGROUP EXCHANGE LTD. is registered as a Money Services Business with FINTRAC (Canada) and provides services in Canada. It is not authorised under MiCA and does not provide services to, or solicit, clients resident or established in the EEA.

3. No onboarding or solicitation of EEA clients
Neither entity onboards new EEA clients, opens new EEA client relationships or accounts, or markets or solicits its services to persons resident or established in the EEA. This applies to individuals and to business-to-business relationships.

4. Existing EEA relationships
Y&Y Group sp. z o.o. did not hold client crypto-assets or fiat balances on an ongoing basis; it operated on a transaction-by-transaction basis. There are therefore no client balances held for transfer, and no new transactions will be entered into with EEA clients. AML/CFT controls and record-keeping obligations continue to apply, and records are retained for the periods required by law.
